Activities: On and Off Site!

Looking for things to do during your stay? Our campground is perfectly nestled right in the heart of Middle Tennessee's premier outdoor recreation hub.

Whether you want to drift down a lazy river, hike a scenic trail, or explore classic small-town charm, there is plenty to do just minutes from your campsite.

In Nature

Hiking - River Oasis features miles of its own shaded hiking and mountain biking trails right on the property. Drive less than an hour to reach Mousetail Landing State Park where you can hunt for historic Civil War ruins along the riverbanks, or head to Natchez Trace State Park to explore massive, 60-foot-deep forest gullies and serene, hidden lakes.

Fishing - Don't forget your fishing rod! With prime riverfront access right on-site, you can spend your mornings casting for Bass and your evenings fishing for Catfish and Crappie without ever leaving the campground. Bring your boat, launch from our ramp, or just fish straight from the shore.

On the Water Don’t worry about packing heavy gear. Head to the local Buffalo River Resort just minutes away to rent canoes, kayaks, or inner tubes. They offer classic 5-to-8 mile river floats, perfect for a relaxing day on the water with family and friends.

History and Culture

Historic Lobelville & The Plain Community – Less than a 10 minute drive. Take a quiet trip into downtown Lobelville to admire the historic architecture and snap a photo by the massive iconic city mural. As you explore, you'll likely spot horse-drawn carriages from the local traditional Anabaptist community, famous for offering incredible hand-crafted furniture, baked goods, and fresh local markets.

The Commodore District & Historic Linden - Take a 30 minute drive south to explore downtown Linden's local boutiques, antique shops, and local artisan galleries filled with small-town Tennessee charm.

Loretta Lynn’s Ranch - Located just a 30 minute drive north up the highway. Tour the iconic country music legend's historic plantation home, visit the Coal Miner's Daughter Museum, check out the 19th-century grist mill, or catch one of their seasonal dirt-track races and events.
